RESEARCHERS
For help with this edition, Rick relied on…
Jennifer Davis
Raised in Eastern Oregon, Jennifer spent her childhood exploring the back roads and mountain trails of the Pacific Northwest. Her first trip east of the Rockies was a direct flight to Paris—still her favorite European city. Now managing editor for guidebooks at Rick Steves’ Europe, Jennifer is grateful that travel led her family to reconnect with its Italian roots.

Teresa Nemeth
Teresa grew up raising sheep and riding horses in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. She fell in love with Italy after high school, then spent a year of college in Freiburg, Germany. Now her European home away from home is with family in a small town along the Danube southeast of Bratislava, Slovakia. She works as an editor for Rick Steves’ Europe.
